Planning fun and entertaining outreach events – wrap-up

Over 30 people came out to Radha last Sunday to talk about fun and entertaining outreach events. There were so many great ideas and projects. I’m really looking forward to seeing them materialize in the future. I hope to post some information about some of these projects and how people can get involved when I

Kitsilano Farmers Market

Yesterday we had a table at the Kitsilano farmers market. We do one date each year at each of the markets around town (Main, Kitsilano, Trout Lake, and the West End). While the day was not the best – it was a bit grey and cold – we still had a very nice time. Our

This post is a bit late, but I just wanted to give a quick recap of our weekend at the EPIC Sustainable Living Expo last weekend. First off, it was great. Out of the many people who passed by our booth, we only had one negative encounter. We were all amazed at how many new

His not-so-lucky brothers were force-fed until their livers swelled up to about 10x their normal size. All this for a delicacy that benefits no one. We’re searching for

More pre-Earth Day leafleting and looking forward to summer

Out again today with the environmental info. I forgot to bring the camera so I don’t have a picture. It was just 2 of us today, at Commercial Drive skytrain station. We gave out about 400 leaflets in an hour and a half, which really surprised me, since sometimes it seemed to slow and as
